Check out this page for answers to frequently asked questions about storage sheds. This will tell you how to order a shed and how to prepare for your shed.
How do I order my shed?
- Use our price builder to choose the perfect options for your shed. Feel free to run through this process as many times as you like until you find the perfect choice.
- Use our color options page to find the perfect color options for your shed. You can choose different colors for your roof, walls and trim.
- Once you’ve found the perfect combination contact us by replying to your estimate email or filling out the contact form found at the bottom of every page. Please send us the estimate number with the choices you want.
- Once we’ve ironed out the details you will receive a deposit invoice (20%) to start the order. You can pay this invoice by credit card, Interac E-transfer, cheque, or cash. Once we’ve received your deposit we’ll order materials and start processing your order.
How do I prepare for my new storage shed?
There are a few ways to prepare for your shed. The most important thing is to have a solid base to set your shed on so that it is stable.
- Gravel pad – The best option is a compacted gravel pad. Add 3-4 inches of gravel and compact it to make it stable.
- Concrete – A concrete pad is always a good base for a shed. This is usually not necessary unless you already have a pad you want to use.
- Concrete Blocks – You can also use concrete deck foundation blocks to set your shed on. You would need to contact us to find exact placement for your shed.
- Treated Wood Blocks – Wood blocks are not an ideal option but can be used in the absence of the above methods.
